Angelina Jolie Not Into Valentine's Day

Happy Valentine's Day! Most of the people in the world will be celebrating Valentine's Day on this February 14, 2010, including celebrities. But, one famous celeb that usually didn't celebrate it was Angelina Jolie. Usually? Yes, she seems to broke her rule when she bought a $25,000 olive tree as a Valentine's gift for her husband, Brad Pitt.

Angelina Jolie is not a fan of Valentine's Day. “She hates it,” said one insider. “Ange has always found all the hearts and flowers such bad taste and anything but romantic. Brad on the other hand is a sucker for all that stuff but he’s under strict orders not to bother." The “Wanted” actress absolutely hates all the ‘lovey-dovey’ stuff that comes with the February 14th holiday.



She always found hearts, flowers and chocolates a bad taste and anything but romantic. Angelina Jolie said that love cannot be defined by any one day. It is eternal and can not be showy.




Surprisingly, this year she wants to give something special to Brad Pitt to celebrate Valentine's Day. Maybe the rumor was true, her marriage has been in jeopardy, and now she's trying to fix it. The couple denied all news about their separation when they appeared together in Superbowl final in Florida last week, with their son, Maddox.

While about the gift, the actress - who raises six children with Pitt - will surprise him on the romantic day with the 200-year-old plant, for their French home, the Chateau Miraval. Olive trees symbolize peace, longevity and stability.

Maybe people now thinking that lady with a tattoo is no longer a taboo, and lots even think that it's sexy.

So, from now I will write about celebrity's tattoos in this blog. It will featuring celebs with unique tattoo, both male or female. Tattoo has become an integral part with the celebrity life style.

We will start with the most popular one: Angelina Jolie

She has at the very least, a dozen tattoos, and shows no signs of slowing down her collecting.
Her tattoos are a reflection of her personality, exotic and with more than just a hint of dangerous sensuality. A woman who professes she likes to play with knives in bed and had the name of the man she loved tattooed on her. And when he exits stage left, she doesn't hesitate to have it lasered off just as quickly.

This is a 12-inch long, 8-inch wide Bengal tiger tattoo on her lower back. It was done in Bangkok on July 8, 2004, during a 2 hour session by tattoo artist Sompong Kanhphai who also blessed it by chanting an ancient hymn.

Sompong also did her Khmer tattoo. She had this tattoo done to celebrate her Cambodian citizenship.

The tiger tattoo was done in the traditional Thai tattoo style with a manual needle. The tiger's tail covers her blue window tattoo.





This tattoo on her left shoulder blade was, just like the tiger tattoo, done by tattoo artist Sompong Kanhphai in a hotel in Pathum Thani, 16 miles north of Bangkok. It is a Buddhist Pali incantation written in Khmer script, the language of Cambodia. It is there to protect her and her adopted Cambodian son Maddox from bad luck.

Here's the translation:

If you acquire riches, may they remain yours always.
Your beauty will be that of Apsara.
Wherever you may go, many will attend,
serve and protect you, surrounding you on all sides."






There are a nice and unique collection of tattoos she's got, right? She still got many tattoos on her body, the big and small ones, which I just can't show it all here. She also got some of her tattoos removed, like the one which says "Billy Bob", the name of her previous husband Billy Bob Thornton.
